Developing a Managed Care Contracting Strategy

CMPM has extensive knowledge and experience in reviewing and negotiating third-party contracts. CMPM strives to meet the revenue goals of its clients by first developing a contracting policy that considers the local market and its current trends. This contracting philosophy directly determines the pricing theory for the group. This strategy provides a managed care matrix, a tool that identifies attributes of managed care companies currently contracting with the practice. It will identify outliers who have a reimbursement schedule that is inappropriate and contracts that are not performing as anticipated. It will also assist in analyzing proposals from other managed care entities that are being reviewed.
